  • Reports published: Tulasi Medical Centre Enter and View.
  • Unsuccessful bid: NEL Cancer project.
  • Successful: New project with London Ambulance Service.
  • Website upgrades ongoing; board blogs invited.
  • Community pop-ups in Barking Riverside and Enter & View at Thames View Health Centre.
  • Advertisement campaign planned for January (tube stations, billboards).
  • Volunteer event held in October; positive feedback. Plans to develop individual achievement plans for volunteers. Two new volunteers joined.
• Current Projects
  • Women’s reproductive and sexual health report launching end of the week.
  • Bowel cancer project launching early January.
  • Upcoming meeting with LBBD Council and NELFT for mental health and eating disorders project.
  • Care home activities engagement project starting next week.
  • LAS project (focused on maternity and NHS 999/111 use) underway. Tight deadlines, focus on ethnic minorities. Survey and focus group planning ongoing. Collaboration with Healthwatch Havering and Redbridge.
• Upcoming Childhood Obesity Project
  • Difficulties starting due to lack of borough plans.
  • Survey on stress and food habits prepared.
  • Discussion to be held with the Healthy Communities team to focus the project.
